Our Mid Wales location is an ideal base for all visitors. Explore what Wales has to offer including amazing waterfalls, lakes and reservoirs, seaside towns and national parks or you may just want to escape to the country and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Within a couple of miles, there is a village shop 'SPAR' providing a range of groceries to include local produce, beers and basics. Just a little further down the road in the village, we also have a local pub which serves good food (including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink with a welcoming atmosphere.

Mawddach Trail Bicycle Route
The Mawddach Trail, is a beautiful bike ride approximately 9 miles long (depending where you join it!) It runs along the spectacular Mawddach Estuary, below the foothills of Cadair Idris in Eryri (Snowdonia).
As you cycle along the old railway line from the historic town of Dolgellau, to the popular seaside town of Barmouth, you'll pass stunning scenery and two interesting wooden bridges.
You could also start at the other end in Barmouth, where you can hire a bike and begin your journey by crossing along the impressive railway bridge.
